Another Great Year

This past weekend I celebrated another amazing birthday. I LOVE birthdays, they are the best and every year I get so excited for the day to come. This year did not disappoint. After a great day and dropping our little guy off at his grandparents my lover and I had a picnic. Except...there was hurricane like wind so we had it in the car! It was perfect, cheese & crackers, my lover with my new iPod playing in the background and a view of the ocean. Our most fabulous friends Mak & Aga gave us the picnic set from London a few years back. The wind was so strong that I wouldn't have been able to stand outside for very long in my Diane von Furstenberg wrap dress without freezing. Luckily I had just come back from some shopping where I picked up a Vintage 70's Rabbit Fur Coat for Rice and Beans Vintage. I put it on, was toasty warm and windproof, not to mention birthday glamorous. Can you believe it, a fur coat in July? That's Maine for you.
