I spent most of the week with JD down at my parents house enjoying the ocean when I should have been listing new items at Rice and Beans Vintage! It was worth it..the warm sun and cool ocean breeze with the air heavily scented with salt spray roses. When I arrived yesterday my mom had dug out this photo of myself and my friend Mattie from the Dallas State fair. Apparently my love of vintage and dressing up goes way back, in fact this photo was taken when we were 10! I scanned it complete with it's "frame" for you all to enjoy. Ironically Mattie is now the head costume mistress (as she likes to be called) at one of Dallas's most prominent theaters, and well you know what I do. By the way I'm the flapper that is seated!
