Rice and Beans Vintage has voted the Five Island Lobster Company as the BEST Haddock Sandwich & Fries in Maine, hands down. Honorable mention goes to Morse's Lobster Shack (now in Cundy's Harbor at the old Holbrook's) and Cook's Lobster House on Bailey Island (yes the place from the VISA commercial). It was Five Island Lobster Company's homemade tarter sauce with dill & capers that did it for me, very unexpected, but not over the top, still authentic. Amazing views and the perfect ending to your day at Reed State Park watching the surfers rip it up. Yummy......
